Highlands Links and Environmental Responsibility

Cape Breton Highlands Links is set in Cape Breton Highlands Links National Park, a wildlife and nature reserve. It's a natural habitat for all kinds of wildlife, including fox, moose and bald eagles, and it's not uncommon to see all of them on the course. Parks Canada is dedicated to preserving its parks, resulting in Highlands Links becoming the first course in Atlantic Canada to gain certification from the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System of Canada.
